Hi guys,

I'm Sancez from Indonesia.
I'm getting married with Serbian man this 2020 in Jakarta, Indonesia and then we plan to live in Serbia after our marriage.

I have 1 daughter from my late husband, she's 16 years old now.
My daughter is in first year of highschool now in Semarang City and she don't want to go with me to live in Serbia after my marriage, but after she finish herhigh school she will move with us.

Could anyone please help advise how we (me and my daughter) can get 2 citizenship after our marriage in Indonesia?
What documents I need to prepare and bring from Indonesia?

Many thanks,
Sancez

The Indonesian nationality law does not recognize dual citizenship except for persons under the age of 18. By that age those who have not chosen their citizenship have to acquire an affidavit (Indonesian: Paspor WNI Ganda Terbatas, Limited Dual Indonesian Citizen Passport) in order to retain both citizenship.
