Is it easy to integrate and socialise as a single person?

Post new topic

londonRanger

I am a Londoner in my 40s and have been offered a job in Port Louis.

There are a few things around socialising and settling in I would appreciate advice on before making my decision.

I would be moving alone and would want to meet/get to know locals and foreigners.

- Is it easy to meet others/are people generally friendly?
- Is it an enjoyable lifestyle?
- Are there fun things to do/places to go? Eg, I love hiking. Are there hiking groups to join or do people tend to do this alone?

Thank you!!
