Im a dual citizen of usa and Britain. After retiring I've lived a few years in san Miguel de Allende México,  a few years in Chiang Mai Thailand and just 6 month's in Da Nang Vietnam.

How do these places compare to Fethiye..or Antalya..2 random choices. I've never been to Turkey.

Essy to get a visa for multiple years of residency?  Easy to get a driver's license?

Thanks in advance

Yes it’s easy to get visa and easy to get license and even easy to buy land or house.
I am also going to apply in turkey

Fethiye has a population of just over 150k and Antalya has a population of 2.5 million. If you are looking for a beautiful place with a laid back lifestyle, I would recommend Fethiye. If you are going to raise a family or plan on working, I would recommend Antalya, as it offers many more options. I live in California but will be moving to Fethiye in the next 4 months. I was stuck between Antalya and Fethiye but after doing research, it was pretty obvious that Fethiye was the better choice for me and what I am looking for (not planning on working, not raising a family). Also, Fethiye has a large population of Brits, so if you do choose Fethiye, you should look in the Calis Beach area (that's where most the Brits are).

Fethiye is a district in the city of Muğla where Antalya is a city itself. So, not comparable. Both are metropolises, but central Muğla is not located at seaside, so central Antalya is much more desired.
Muğla's districts are: Bodrum, Dalaman, Datça, Fethiye, Kavaklıdere, Köyceğiz, Marmaris, Menteşe, Milas, Ortaca, Seydikemer, Ula, Yatağan.
Antalya's districts are: Akseki, Aksu, Alanya, Demre, Döşemealtı, Elmalı, Finike, Gazipaşa, Gündoğmuş, İbradı, Kaş, Kemer, Kepez, Konyaaltı, Korkuteli, Kumluca, Manavgat, Muratpaşa, Serik.
