Do you need negative coronavirus test result to enter Tanzania?

I just found out that the government of Russia (the country I'm leaving) informed tourists that they need a negative covid test result to enter Tanzania. Is it true? Does Tanzania require the test result upon entering? Thank you for any information.

From what I have found online, you will be tested on arrival. If the test is negative then you will have mandatory 14 day isolation at your expense.
I suggest you contact the nearest Tanzanian Embassy for information. Also check with the airline you will use to travel to Tanzania.

Did you mean mandatory isolation if the test is positive?

My mistake in previous post.

If you test POSITIVE on arrival you will go into mandatory 14 day isolation. If negative should be okay. As I said, contact nearest Tanzanian Embassy and airlines for clarification.
