Funny thing, my son told me about this 'Expat.com BBQ thing' happening in a few days time at F'n'F. Apparently he's going there with his mate and he was 'inviting' me to join him!

Ummm.. well dude...i guess you'll be reading this post sooner or later and.. if I do go I bet I can drink you 'under the table'!

Hi Julian,

Any backup plans if it rains tomorrow. It is raining since noon in Quatre Bornes. I have spoken to the owner of 90 degrees in FLic and FLac and he has agreed to accomodate the group in  the bar\resturant and we can bring our own snacks provided we buy drinks from the bar. This is provided it rains tomorrow and there is no other backup plan.
Cheers
Terence

Julien

no backup from my side, I've been too busy these days (I didn't even checked the weather :/)

musheer

Well... We've been waiting for the winter!! Here it is!!!
LEts hope the "Seaside" is clear tomorrow afternoon!

Hello all

i work in Textile (PortLouis) and I and my friends intend to come to your meeting @ Flacq. Is this ok???

weather should be ok, otherwise we will just go to the beach and swim with the rain or dancing in the rain.

Hello

The meeting is at Flic en Flac (in the west) and not Flacq (east). Hope to see you there.

The weather's been typically Mauritian in QB since yesterday morning (rain+wind+cold!!). Still raining this morning.I suppose the weather should be better in Flic en Flac.

terence

It was a pleasure meeting all you of after a long time.
Cheers!!!
Terence

Julien

Thanks to all the attendants, it's been really nice meeting you :)

Where should we meet next time ?

musheer

I had a great time :)Great to see a lot of new faces mixing with the Good'ol regulars!!

I think next time we should have it indoors type.. say Suffren again or something else as the weather is likely to be bad in August!

Mariam A

Musheer, good that you did not say the Good'ol faces...

Yes, it was great fun and looking forward to next month's gathering....suffren would be nice
