I am coming to malaysia, can any one help to know what is the current situation for forigners to enter malaysia, I am petroleum engineer from egypt, thanks

As i know, borders are closed to 23 countries, im not sure Egypt is included. Do you have an airline ticket already? Also, as i know you have to apply for a permit to come during covid, and will have to submit to 2-week quarantine on arrival which costs you RM150 per day, and you will need a test before coming. Why do you want to travel during covid, and especially why here?

I think the permits are here:

Egypt is not amongst the list of countries which have has all travellers from those states banned.

On September 18, the Immigration Department of Malaysia announced that foreign travelers with long-term passes can now enter Malaysia with approval by the Immigration Department of Malaysia. This announcement softens some of the September 7, 2020 restrictions for some travelers, which prohibited all foreign nationals from 23 countries, including the United States, from entering Malaysia. According to the September 18 announcement, holders of the following passes may apply for entry permission: “Residence Pass-Talent (RP-T) and their dependants,  Employment Pass (Category EP I, II and III), Professional Visit Pass (PVP), Dependant Pass to expatriate for all categories, Long Term Social Visit Pass (LT-SVP) to expatriate for all categories, and Foreign Maid to expatriate for all categories.” Please refer to the Expatriate Services Division Website for more information, including instructions to apply for permission to enter Malaysia through the MyEntry Portal.

All foreign nationals traveling to Malaysia MUST have explicit, written permission from the Malaysian authorities prior to arrival. As of July 24, all travelers are required to undergo COVID testing on arrival and a undertake a mandatory fourteen-day quarantine at a facility designated by the Malaysian government. The full cost of testing and quarantine must be borne by the traveler. The cost of this for non-Malaysians is RM4700.  Please see the section on Quarantine Information below for further details.

Well, I think you have your answer. I notice that airlines say that normal flights will return in March 2021 so maybe thats an indication of when things will be generally open. But everything depends on the progress of covid around the world.
