Hello, we have just arrived in Locorotondo and while we are keen on improving our Italian, it would also be nice to make contact with some expat people too. We are retired and interested in walking and cycling, the arts, getting to know the area and generally making the most of our time in this wonderful part of Italy. Subject to the restrictions of Covid, we would be very happy to get to know people in the Valle d'Itria.

Hi Louise,
I saw your post. We are a retired couple still in the US but hopefully looking to move there sometimes in February. Puglia or Abruzzo are two regions we are looking at given the tax break offered. I was wondering a couple of things. You said you just moved there. Does it mean during the pandemic? If so, did you had to quarantine? Also, it appears that we share in similar interests so I was wondering if you are able to be active in the town you are in .
