Does Anyone Have Experience With AliExpress?

AliExpress is owned by Alibaba.

I tried to order today and had no luck. Credit cards were declined and they needed proof on who I was. They requested and I complied by uploading two Photo I.D.'s, a copy of my Credit Card and a copy of the Credit Card Statement.

Now waiting an answer from them.

Oh to be back in the States, click & order from Amazon, get my order the next day (Their warehouse was located in Las Vegas). No hoops, no red tape, just good fast service.

An answer to my own question. Within a couple hours AliExpress approved my purchase. When I pushed the "PURCHASE BUTTON" another window opened up. AliExpress had contacted my credit card company, the credit card company emailed  me a code, which I had to type in at AliExpress's webpage.

The shipping charge was almost as much as the product, but delivery by DHL is expected in about 18 days.

I've searched for hours looking for this item, running into a lot of dead ends and false advertisements wasting a lot of time. You signup at a website, fill in all your info (name, shipping address) then you get to the checkout and then they tell you they don't ship to the Philippines or they're out of stock.

I have had a few orders that just never arrived.  Also, they are terrible on giving tracking once the order leaves China.

In our experience ALIEXPRESS did go easy. They kept there end of the deal. We made te order in the US to be delivered in the Philippines. Items arrived a little latter but all arrived in good condition.
Also shipments are slower due to the COVID.
Is best using a Pay Pall Account.
Good luck.

My own answer to my own question. One item that said shipping would be DHL came FedEx with very quick delivery.

A second different order came quickly through AliExpress, both orders within two weeks with accurate tracking info provided.
