Important notice: Potential scammer contacting Expat.com members on Whatsapp

Hello everyone,

We would like to inform you that a certain individual has been contacting our members on Whatsapp while posing as an employee of Expat.com.

The imposter is specifically targeting members who have posted an advert in the Housing section, and reaching out to them through the contact details provided in the ads. Furthermore, the Expat.com logo is being misused by this person to pass off as a staff member.

Please do not by any means reply to messages matching the above.

Kindly help us out in restricting this person from using Whatsapp for this type of fraudulent activity by reporting/blocking him.

The Expat.com team gets in touch with you either through the private messaging system or through email only. We will not contact you by Whatsapp.

If you happen to receive such messages, please do inform us so that we can take all the necessary measures to prevent it.
