My friend's son is 21 years living with his family in Jeddah. He wants to know if he can a bank account?

If he is working, he can. If not, he still can open an account but he has to get like assurance letter from the father. The other option is to have a sub account under his father account

Your question has been answered in a previous post. And secondly, DON'T get money credited from any work into your account especially if in their records, you are a dependent. You may have issues.
