Organic waste disposal between collection days

I missed my collection of food waste today and the next scheduled day is Friday - which presumably won't happen. But I need to dispose of what I currently have and don't want to add it to tomorrow's mixed waste. Is there anywhere I can take it to dispose of it. Or any other suggestions please.

I read that food waste will be picked up this Saturday along with black bags.
