Moving to Belgium

Post new topic

Hello, everybody!
So, I’m Italian, currently living in Italy.
I intend to move to Belgium with my husband soon.
My husband is Brazilian.

I got to know that I need to apply for the residency and find a job in 3 months, right?

My question is: what about my husband? Can my husband work while I’m still looking for a job (if he finds any)??

Thank you in advance!!!

Hello and welcome on our website,

In fact, it will depend on the visa/RP/WP of your husband.

As Italian, you can work directly without administrative problem.

Thank you for your reply.

You need to register but not to find a job. If you can proof that you have money to live here, ok. There's a "self sufficient" option to the registration process (I'm registered like this).

If you're married "de facto", your husband can register on the sabe time with you and, after work like you.

Regards and envie um abraço ao brazuca (he knows what I mean :)

Registering..do you mean registering into a fund such as Partena?

Ps: what are the differences between funds?
