I have submitted my application for authorization on 6 jan 2021.Now SIRI has posted a news regarding the applicants and residence issue.i am pasting its link.kindly let me know , am i part of this notice.
thanks

Siri will not issue residence permits

Nellie Berg

I am afraid that you're affected by the new processing of residence permits unless you are already in this country. It's all about not letting foreigners into this country as long as the Covid19 is spreading.

Do remember that you are always welcome to ask SIRI if you have questions regarding your case. Personally, I would'nt hesitate to contact the authorities in charge as they are the best to know.

DeeEss

Hi Sharafat, are there any updates to your case?

sharafat_dr

Hello deeEss Thank you for your interest.I am still waiting for reply.Hoping for the positive reply 😊

sharafat_dr

Hello nellie today i recieved a reply from siri about my question regarding not turning down our applications for residence permit.i am writing their reply below. This is for your informations.

Thank you for your email.
unfortunately it is not possible for the agence to assess and alter specific applications and their time frames before processing them.
Furthermore Siri can not provide a date for guarenteed opening of the danish borders.

☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️

Nellie Berg

Thank you for your feedback.

The information came as no surprise, Actually, we both knew that in advance, didn't we?

As nobody knows how long time this lockdown will last, I take that SIRI needs to have a fresh start with no backlog when society opens up again. Perhaps that day will soon come.

Don't lose heart.

Thank you very much nellie...

Hello nellie.
Today i recieved the decision from denmark embassy.i am writing it down for openion please.

The danish agency for international requitment and integration has reached a decision in yor case and has decided that you can not be granted a residence permit.we have reached the decision pursuant to section 12d(3)(2), of the law on measures against contagious and other communicable disease and after the negotiation with the minister of health.
The fee paid by you will be refunded.

i need openions about,
1) can i apply for residence permit again?
2) is this decision in connection with the news from siri i already shared with you through link?
3) when i can reapply?

Thank you
Dr Sharafat Biland

sharafat_dr

Also kindly let me know where to apply for refund of my application fee?

Nellie Berg

Hi Sharafat,

https://www.nyidanmark.dk/en-GB/News%20 … uspenderet
If your application is turned down as a result of these restrictions, the case processing fee you have paid to SIRI will be refunded. The Danish version reads 'at the same time'. I take that all administration of your case will be processed at the same time, but that the bank transfer itself may take some days.

This decision doesn't rely on an assesment of your qualifications, but is entirely based on general corona restrictions why you can apply again, but when? Nobody can tell you that today, but it seems that society will open little by little from now on.

/Nellie

PS: You may wonder why I don't address you by Dr Sharafat Biland as you put it yourself, only address you by Sharafat? It's not to be rude, but because we don't use titles in Denmark, and because we address everybody only with their first name. I hope you don't mind my way of addressing you.

sharafat_dr

Thank you very much for your kind reply.
1)first regarding my name, i never mind it any ways you or any body call me by my first name, or last name or title. Therefore dont worry about that.
2)In my latter it is written that i can apeal to the embassy regarding decision in 8 wks.Now should i wait till the borders reopen and they anounce it in news and then i apply or i should apeal with 8 wks time frame?
3)can you assess me please where i should submit copy of my paymet in order to get my payment back?

Nellie Berg

I am afraid that I cannot contribute with much more.

2) This is just a general formulation as all decisions made by public authorities can be challenged within 8 weeks, and it must appear appear in the letter so everybody knows their rights. Pure formality which won't alter the decision in this case.

3) I take that you shall be a little patient regarding the money and just wait. You shall expect that Siri will need one week for their part, and then comes the time which the banks will need to end the transactions. For the last part, you could ask your bank how long time it estimates for that purpose. As you haven't been asked for any information about the refund, it's because SIRI has all the needed information (from where the money comes, it's where the money will go back).

Expect the borders to open up again not until spring . Take a look at https://www.nyidanmark.dk/en-GB weekly to look for news about the corona situation, and expect a pretty long administration time when finally everything opens up again as there'll be many in your situation waiting for the same.

sharafat_dr

Thank you 🙂

Nellie Berg

All current restrictions have today been prolonged until April 5th. Fingers crossed that they will not be further prolonged.

/Nellie

sharafat_dr

Thank you nellie.ok i will wait till they open their borders.

sharafat_dr

Hello nellie.
can you please share with me the link for the news of restrection you mentioned?

Nellie Berg

It's from a press conference yesterday about a partial and cautious opening of society (some schools within three areas, minor shops, open air museums, based on widespread use of tests (twice a week, negative tests not older than 48 hours). All other restrictions remain unaltered until April 5th, e.g. the whole service sector, restaurants ..........

Still a society in lockdown. The infection pressure is increasing due to B 1.1.7, a 3rd waive is foreseen, but the cautious opening is a balancing of economy, fatique over restrictions .............

About 6 % of the population has now been jabbed. I take that much more shall have the jab before an opening of the borders will be considered.

sharafat_dr

Thank you so much nellie.

Hi, How long did it take you to obtain medical authorization? I applied in early december and I still have no answer?

Also were you required to learn danish immediately?
I am trying my best to learn it but no one in Malta, where I live speaks the language, so its very difficult to learn it

Hello.
I submitted my documents for approval in dec 2018 to DPSA and i recieved my final aproval letter in nov 2020. it tool almost two years.Normaly they process it in 14 months but cause of delay in my case was covid out break.you can check it on DPSA site about which month applications they are processing.

sharafat_dr

You asked about danish language , so its not a requirement for approval of yoir qualification from DPSA .You need it when you het aproval letter and start your authorization process. You can learn it inline using Duolingo app.

Nellie Berg

Maybe, this will be of interest to you, too:
