Hi.
We are considering moving to Malta. We will be looking to work when we get there and are looking for as much advise as possible to the process.
We will be renting at first so would like to know best areas to be looking near the coast.
We will be bringing our two dogs so dog friendly beaches are a must.
We are from the uk so no longer EU citizens so anyone who is in the same position a us or know anything that can help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the Forum, it would have been easier to have moved here last year, you will probably be treated the same way as any other TCN, you may not find it easy to get a job because of the virus also
wages are a lot lower here.   Have you been to Malta?
Hopefully someone will have more information for you, good luck.

Good Luck,  jobs here are not easy to find, & as stated wages are low ( ave 5 euros p,h), renting is expensive , especially near the sea.
In summer , dogs are not welcomed on beaches,  then there's residency, health care,
& taxes.

Derek's advice is sound. After 32 years I am leaving soon as the cost of living, for foreigners especially, is very high. At least 15,000 foreigners have left in the past 9 months due to poor job prospects.

I wouldnt say they left because of poor job prospects as such, could be something else is going on? Hard to guess what it might be

Probably left because of Brexit and some left as they lost their jobs because of the virus.
