Hello everybody,

When living or moving abroad, and in particular in Oman, vaccination against certain diseases is often required to enter the country or to avoid risks.

We would like to ask you a few questions to help future expats there.

What is your relationship to vaccines in general?

Did you get vaccinated before moving to Oman?
Were these vaccinations compulsory or recommended?

Did you refuse to get any vaccine that was recommended for Oman? If so, why?

If you are an expatriate in Oman, are you encouraged to get a COVID-19 vaccine? Do you have access to the vaccine and do you plan to get it?

Is this vaccine required for entering the country now?

Many thanks,

Diksha,

Hello Diksha,

Greetings of the day..................!!!
How are you?

I am living in the Gulf since June - 1995 in different countries and many times - many types of diseases spread overworld, and from time to time we inject many types of vaccines as per recommendation by governments. which is really helpful to save a human being. Now again we are fighting with Covid-19, Now again the government is requesting to take vaccination to avoid more spread coronavirus.

I was arrived in Oman before starting Covid-19. therefore I do not take any vaccine.

Oman Government at present recommending taking the Covid-19 vaccine before it becomes mandatory to all.

The main reason to avoid vaccine is side effect is appearing as worlds news coming through social media. therefore the fear of side effects in all humans.

Anyhow, I will support saving human life at any cost, Human life will alive the world is happy.

I am also planning to get the covid vaccine, in case if I will move out of Oman.

Thanks & Regards.
