Where Sai Kaew beach in Sattahip is actually located ?

Does anyone know in which district (sub-district) exactly Sai Kaew Beach in Sattahip is located?  My friend claims it belongs to Bangsaray (Bang Sare) That IMO is far from Sattahip.  I have attached his response.
16 kilometres from here to Bang Saray ( main road ), then you turn right, leave your passport and then you continue 9 kilometres to the beach. You underestimate the distance to the beach ( all way down, then switch to a Songtaew over the hills ).
There's only one Sai Kaew beach in our area and it belongs to Bang Saray (Amphoe Sattahip).

A silly question - Why do you leave your passport?

Edit - NEVER leave your passport with anyone. Valid passports are worth a fortune on the black market and scammers love them for identity theft.

If someone asks you to leave your passport, politely refuse. If you can't gain entry or hire a jetski because of that, do something else instead.

The beach is on the island if ko samet, province of Rayong , Approx 70 km south of Pattaya
And never leave your passport with anyone , can be used to hire cars, motorbikes , open bank accounts , apply for loans.
Good luck

It is actually on the mainland in Rayong province. In the top left corner, (Northwestern part) of the peninsula across the straight from Koh Khram Yai (Big Blue Island). Chang Wat Chon Buri, Amphoe Sattahip, Sattahip เมืองพัทยา : 20180.

Yeah, should not leave your actual passport. Make a photocopy of the profile page and give that to them. I suspect they want some ID because the Thai Naval base is there and they don't want any spies to sabotage or steal any secrets. LOL! I've been there several times because my wife's friend is a naval officer and he got us into all the private beaches south of Sai Kaew (also been to Sai Kaew). You should not have to leave passport when going to Sai Kaew, but Hat Yao you definitely need to be escorted by somebody in the navy because guards will check and take some ID.

@Fred; You can always leave a copy.  I would suggest to have copies with you all of the time just in case.
