Hello all I hope you are doing and safe,

I have left Saudi Arabia  3 years ago on a final exist, I had some unpaid visas card for 18,000 riyals

I have been unemployed  for 3 years and I lost my mother few month for cancer.

Few month a go one law firm contact me in Lebanon, and asking for the debt, I said I can't pay now because I been unemployed since 3 years plus the financial situation in my country is extremely bad, last week I was contacted by one company in Saudi asking me to join them for a project in jubail, my question is I am afraid to be arrested in the airport while returning back to ksa for this new job opportunity.

Some people say that credit cards are insured so no legal case or arrest since it is not a major loan.
Can someone kindly advice..

God bless u all and your families.

In not paying you effectively stole the money. The best way, rather than try to think of excuses why you didn't pay, or don't need to pay, is return the stolen money, then think about returning.

Same happened with one of my friend, he had debt of SR 5,000 from SABB Bank when he left KSA, but one year after he came back to KSA again and bank approached him and he made settlement with bank to pay the debt in 4 to 5 installments.

now coming back to your question,
1 - no one will catch or arrest you on the airport while returning to KSA , its better you talk with bank and convince them to make settlements.
2 - even a single penny,  regardless the credit cards are insured or not, the money was not yours, it will be considered as stolen since its debt on you.

wish you all the best....
