Dear Ex-Pat Community,

My name is Sam Warren.

I trust you and your family are safe and well during these unprecedented times.

I am looking for some support to research potential leadership/management opportunities within the field of Healthcare in Asia.

I was wondering if anyone or indeed their extended network may be aware of any potential roles that may suit my skill set.

I have been considering a role abroad for some time feel this may be a suitable time to  extend my experience to another country as well as potentially provide invaluable experience in a different healthcare setting and organisation.

In brief I have experience in the following settings-

Inpatient Psychiatric Intensive Care- Staff Nurse/Charge Nurse
Clinical Governance Lead Nurse- Management position
Clinical Transformation Specialist- Implementing electronic patient records
Acute Admissions (Mental Health) Ward management
Senior nurse in Community crisis and alternative to admission services
Manager/Team Leader- Community Dementia Crisis Teams
Senior Programme Lead- Commissioning of numerous NHS/Private services in South England
Home management positions within the private sector for Older Peoples Mental/Physical health, Acquired Brain Injury Units and Learning Disability challenging Behavioural Units
I also have extensive experience as a  Expert Trainer in Physical Interventions, Management of Violence and Aggression, Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity.
Extensive Multi Site Middle and Senior Leadership and Management experience across numerous organisations.

I would greatly appreciate if you could point me in the right direction or forward this email to a more appropriate person.

Thank you for taking the time to review this message

Hello Sam,

You are in the same field as my wife, although, I'm not sure if she wants to get involved in this topic. She is the Global Marketing Manager SE Asian Region for an international health care company here in Bangkok. She has been working at 3 different ones during the past decade. Kaiser, Philips, Abbott, Edwards, GE Healthcare, Bumrungrad International Hospitals, etc. to just name a few are all here.

I would suggest you apply to their human resources department directly. I also would suggest applying for positions which Thais couldn't do because Thailand tries to prevent foreigners from taking jobs away from Thais which they can do. Therefore, stick to international type management positions requiring languages other than Thai.

I will show this to my wife and see if she wants to respond.

Good Luck!

Hi There,

Firstly many thanks for your reply I appreciate the time you took to respond.

This is a good starter so I can start to do some research into potential options.

If it helps your wife could private message me with further details if it is preferred not to be on the public forum- only of time permits of course.

I hope you and your family are safe at this time.

Sam
