Visit Visa to Work Visa in UAE (Saudi Iqama Holder)

Post new topic

Greetings,

Please give me advice ;  I am working in KSA and got a job offer in UAE.

Pakistani citizens' visas are banned in UAE and I am going to resign here in KSA and will go for final exit but before that can I come to UAE on a visit visa based on Saudi Iqama and transfer it to a work visa. After the visa process, i will come back for the final exit from Saudia and join the job in UAE. I actually want saudi Iqama for a UAE visit visa to work visa transfer. Is it legal/possible?

Also my Iqama expiry is after 9 month and my company is ready to release.

Your advice is really appreciated.

No, it is not possible.
You can go to UAE.
But you can not transfer the visit visa to a work visa.
By the way what is your field?

If your company allows to travel you can try
Your exit re entry visa to be granted by the employer there is no change in this status

Yes my company has no issue because i took trasfer from previous employer and new empoyer can give 3~5 days leave. So my concern is only visit visa based in UAE on saudi iqama could be transfer in work visa. Logically it should be final exit. So before trying this i need advise

Ok. So no need to give the try. Thanks for response. I am an Engineer  .

Nobody I mean it, nobody can change his/her visit visa to a working/residence visa anywhere in the world.
You can visit any gulf country through Saudi Iqama from the kingdom but you will never be able to transfer a visit visa to another visa.
That is impossible.
Now, even you have to change your Pakistani National Identity Card also.
Do check your NIC there is mentioned that country of Stay is Saudi Arabic, you would need to change that to UAE.
And for that, you need to end your Saudi visa.

Regarding above response, in UAE they are facilitating to change visit visa status to work visa also no need to exit as well. My case is different due to my pakistani visa ban i want to use my iqama id for visiting uae and further process. My company can give me final exit but it will be no use for me then i have to go back Pakiatan and can't join new employer in UAE due to ban issue

After getting Exit can anyone travel to Dubai on visit if he have a valid iqama

If you have a UAE visa, yes.   You will not get on arrival on the basis of your Iqama.
