Post new topic

Dear Pakistani Expats Community.

I need answers of some questions, I'm an Accountant planning to come Saudi Arabia for job hunting. A saudi person will issue me a new Accountant visa under his restaurant business but the main purpose is, I will come there to look for a job and he is agree to give me transfer whenever I get the job in another company. So this is we called Free or Azad visa?

Q1.You know after I reached Ksa 3 months temporary iqama will have on a new visa which is a permit to live in Ksa. ?

Q2. I want to know that within this 3 months if a get a job, as per Saudi rules It will be ok for him to give me transfer and also Ok for new Employer to accept me.?

Q3. What if I didn't get job during first 3 months then he will issue me 1 year iqama or 3 months iqama further?

Q4. After I joined new company , Now Iqama renewal cost will be on new Employer?

Q5. I heard there is a rule someone can't change sponsership for first year, Is it right or wrong?

I'm considering with mutual consent with him, this will be transferable visa because he will be fully agree to transfer sponsership, I'm right?

Sorry for Long Questions.

Kindly need your Professional advise.

Jazakallah khair.

Thank you for your help and Time.

Ans.The people mistaken it as Azad,  from the beginning it's a sponsored visa to work for the employer. Mutual agreement is different not known to govt.
Q1.You know after I reached Ksa 3 months temporary iqama will have on a new visa which is a permit to live in Ksa. ?
Ans.There is no temporary iqama its is issued for 1 year.
Q2. I want to know that within this 3 months if a get a job, as per Saudi rules It will be ok for him to give me transfer and also Ok for new Employer to accept me.?
Ans.You need to spend 1 year with your first employer in any case.

Q3. What if I didn't get job during first 3 months then he will issue me 1 year iqama or 3 months iqama further?
Ans.No temporary iqama its for 1 year.

After 1 year
Q5. I heard there is a rule someone can't change sponsership for first year, Is it right or wrong?
Ans.1 year with your employer to change sponsor.

I'm considering with mutual consent with him, this will be transferable visa because he will be fully agree to transfer sponsership, I'm right?

The saudi is your first employer in any case.

You have got your answers and now i am gonna tell you one thing straight,
If that saudi wants he can make you to stay with him as long as he wants.
And above all, if he is going to give you that so called AZAD Visa then he will charge you.
Yeah, he will ask for monthly payments.
So, be careful and one more thing, it is very hard to work as accountant in here so try to get a company visa instead.

Hello,
Good that you posted this here. I would like to add that coming on Accountant profession will complicate things for you. Iqama holders with Accounting as a profession in their iqama cannot change their professions. It is blocked in the system. If you are coming to search for a job in another profession then you must reconsider. In addition to all this, with covid and localization situation, finding a job is extremely difficult. I recommend you search a job through a company and come on their visa.

Is there still condition to stay with current Employer to change sponsership or can be changed before the completion of first Year??

Don't you get it?
You will not be able to work here if you have an accountant profession on your iqama.
And yes, they have put a condition now to stay with an employer for a year at least.

And above all, now all professionals should be registered.
So, do you have a proper degree?
And remember that accountant profession is only for Saudis now.
And for any other profession you should have relevant education.
