I would like to know whether myself and my wife can apply for a Parental Visa
Just to give a brief info about my case .
My ILR was revoked in 2008 and I had to return back to India.
I have 2 kids .Son aged below 16yrs and Daughter aged below 14 .
They are both born in UK and still hold the BRITISH PASSPORTS.
Now we would like to send my son to study there we would like to know the prospects of us applying on Parent visa or EEA settlement or any other way wherein we can have the settlement based on our kids.
I would appreciate if any of the experts can answer as I have been trying to get the info from a very long time.
I have studied the rules in regard to the Parent visa of a British child which I qualify but wanted to know what are the consequences whether will we get the visa due to the the Revoked ILR.
My son will be joining A levels and already has got a provisional admission in a grammar school in London.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

I assume your ILR was revoked for a reason (you don't have to tell me or anyone else why that was). Notwithstanding this, I'm not aware of any circumstances where your children would be allowed to sponsor your return to the UK.

I think you need to read the rules more effectively, since you asked about the EEA permit, which is totally irrelevant to your situation. You can find the immigration rules (in full) and details about how they are applied on the UK visas web site. You can also find detailed discussion in the forum at www.ImmigrationBoards.com

As parents, you would be seeking a Family Reunion visa and of course would need to be able to meet the requirements in relation to incomes and a place to live in the UK.

My guess is that since the ILR was revoked so long ago it would now not have any effect, but to check that you should look at an official web site; make an enquiry or perhaps consult an immigration solicitor. I have contact details for one, but of course you would need to pay for any advice provided.
