Hi Sunny,

I am 60 years old of Turkish heritage living in Minneapolis, MN.  I just returned from Turkey on March 17 having had all of my existing teeth (28) crowned (damaged from a lifetime of night time grinding) and 4 implants put in.   The work was completed in two trips to Turkey, each taking roughly 2 weeks.  I would highly recommend the dental clinic, Dentasey in Kusadasi, as they are very professional, thorough and do meticulous work.  The primary dentist is fluent in english.  The cost is competitive.  This clinic was recommended by my mother's tenant who is a nurse in one of the local hospitals in Kusadasi.  Dentasey also caters to clients from throughout Europe and has staff fluent in french, german and spanish.  I'm not financially tied to this clinic, just recommending them because of my experience.

Any one have good clinic to advise

A challenging statement,

Why do you need good looking teeth, I do not and I do not care. Financials are no problem, but people have to see me as a person and not because of nice teeth.

I can still eat (sometimes with difficulties I admit). But with replacements/implants you can also have a lot of pain (ongoing).

My view Just be natural (200 years ago no implants etc)

I did implants in Türkiye.  The clinic absolutely refuses to give me the passport for these implants.  What is the solution to discover the brand of these implants

@karmsun yes I can help.. I worked at one of those clinics in Istanbul and I know the doctors first hand.. the work was excellent I even had my family restore their teeth at those clinics, the price of an implant varies depending on the type of the implant.. they had German Korean and Turkish implants but generally the price ranged from 450-500$ let me know if you still need help heres my email ***

My parents ensured I had regular dentist check ups and remdial work before I was 18.

40yrs later my teeth are all still my own and (based on the comments of others) rather decent..

Every time I fly to Turkey there are at least 10% flying out for dental/hair work on the flight.

My personal view is self worth is far more important than self image. And, if you have poor teeth as an an adult, then blame your parents, as they should have got that sorted out on the UK NHS when you were a child.

If they didn't then get them to pay.

Personally I still have all my own teeth, and they are even, straight and white and I thank my parents for this.

PS: I, unlike most of the UK actually like the dentist, that I think is part of the problem, as most seem terrified of dentists.. which they usually learn from their patents.

Not sure about other countries though?

@marktmorgan prices in some part of Europe are way too excessive tbh, at same price you could fly somewhere else, get a nice short vacation and get all your dental work done and the cost won't be nearly as expensive.. however you must choose your clinic abroad carefully since fraud had become very common nowadays.. as for fear of dentist it could either be a result to general fear of new experiences or a subsequent result of a past trauma.. either way the dentist has to be careful with these cases.. cheers

@Mantois what exactly are you looking for?

marktmorgan

Prevention is always better than the  cure, teach your children and grandchildren that. 😀
