Basically I am researching the best location to live if I decide to work in Gibraltar, so far the public transport - buses - haven't been good.  I've only go the timetable for one bus company so far.  The reason I am asking where people live is to find out if they take buses to the Frontier that arrives early am, i.e. before 8am, and if the same bus runs back quite late in the evening.  La Linea seems at the moment to be the only location.  I basically want to find locations, apart from La Linea where I can walk to Gibraltar.

I'm a PA and would be looking that that type of work when the time comes.

i don't think there is another place than La linea for that.
Basically, when you are living in La linea, you have between 5 and 20 mn to walk for going to Gibraltar.
I advice you to check Gibraltar on google map, that will give you a pretty good idea of how the place look like.
Otherwise there is a good bus service from Al jezira to la linea. It took 45 mn and cost like 2 euros for the travel.

Thanks for your reply.  I've stayed in Algericas, I thinks that what you were referring to.  The bus services is good from their and I travelled from their to Linea quite often, the last time I was there, also went to Tarifa too.  I wouldn't like to live there though.  I know La Linea would be the sensible location to live, but not sure about the area yet.  Will need to take a better look around.  The next I'm over I will visit the bus station at La Linea to find out more about the timetable and find out where I can travel from.  All this is just research at the moment, nothing definite.
