Import dog to Mauritius

Hi there,
we am planning to move to Mauritius after lockdown on a Premium Visa before converting to an occupational permit. We would like to bring my dog with me.

Has anyone imported a dog on a Premium Visa? Do you know if this is allowed?

Watch the YouTube videos on the subject, I recommend videos by Lucy Leheileix, lots of very informative info is shared. There are pet transport companies, but they are not created equal.

It is possible😉

But start vaccine your dog as soon as possible, because it takes approximately 6 months until your dog is ready to travel. They ask for blood tests and vaccinations that is connected to waiting periods until your dog is allowed to enter Mauritius.

Look up on the website of the ministry of accriculter from Mauritius what is required.

I am sure you could as many Europeans bring their dogs in and out.... just the month in quarantine is awful emotionally - ***
