Dependant visa will be converted to dependant iqama and it is valid as long your iqama is valid and renewed.

He can change to work visa, but it depends on the job category thats he works for and the company should have good connections in govt  to be eligible for transfer of dependent to the company.

Or else he has to find a company who offers work visa to him, he needs to exit and enter on new visa.

Schools have options to employ dependant iqama holders as a Teacher but they don't provide a valid contract, you need to bear all fees of govt.

hi,
i am a muslim and just get married to. My wife iqama is domestic individual iqama.
Can I convert it to dependent iqama? Can my wife will be able to work on a compant on a dependent iqama?  Thank you in advance for answers.

If she have independent iqama why you want to change ?
if you will take her on your iqama as your dependent you have to pay 400 riyal per month collectively for whole year as family tax which will be 4800 riyal.
If she is not working any where then you can take her on your iqama else why need to pay 400 SAR per month .

But in short yes you both are married , contact jawazat with marriage certificate or your company's HR or Government Relation officer can do that for you too .

decision is yours.

thank you for your reply. Currently she has sponsor, and his iqama is domestic worker. The contract will be finished in 3 months. she no longer want to work as domestic worker for the sponsor. When we marry, what will happen to her iqama? Will her iqama be dependent iqama because we marry?
