Hi there!

I'm considering moving permanently to Sharjah but having doubts about a few things, could you please help me understand?

I'm a self-employed trader and VERY occasionally i also work as a software developer, I have built my fortune through investments in cryptocurrencies and ETF portfolios, my earnings are pretty stable and I still have assets to prove my self-sufficiency.

Do I qualify for a residency visa? And if so, can I extend it to my parents as well?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

You can apply for the residence VISA in UAE.  If you are planning to permanently shift to UAE try buying a property here . You can also get a residence visa along with that.  IF you are a software professional and you can establish that you can apply under that category also. After your VISA is through, you can sponsor your parents VISA under your VISA. There is also a provision for applying for a freelancer VISA.
