I stayed baharain from 2008 to 2015 residence and work.now I want urgently pcc certificate for Canada.from baharain.from india baharain embassy tell me it will take 90 days .I don't have time to wait I want as soon as possible.my friends working there they can get my certificate instead of me.what is the solution

XTang

The process is in this thread:

https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=841333

You will have to send them finger print forms with prints from your police station and attested by bahrain embassy in your home country. Then a power of attorney to apply on your behalf - CID has made it a habit recently to ask for one in cases such as these.

None of the above is a quick solution unfortunately.

sreekumarptb

Can you tell me format and from which authority can l make this power attorney o  my behalf

XTang

It's a legal document. Refer to courts in your home country.

If you do the fingerprints before it can be acquired online. I got mine 3 days ago and I only pay 1BD and received the certificate thru E-mail within 24 hours. It is simple but as I said if you have done fingerprints before and it is still on the system of Bahrain.bh otherwise they will require you to go to the CID and do fingerprints.

sreekumarptb

I don't remember my fingerprint there.hi jeronsky this is my whatsaap***

Exactly.  This is why I always advise people to go for a certificate while they are in Bahrain - whether they need it or not.  That way the fingerprints are uploaded on their system and every single time in the future, you can order a certificate online.

sreekumarptb

I have expired cpr that's they have fingerprint also in their system right.

Jorensky

The fingerprint you did in getting CPR is different and not valid for Good Conduct Certificate. You have to go to the CID or Police Station and have the fingerprint to be able to apply for Good Conduct Certificate. If you did not have your fingerprint before to the police then it is very complicated now to apply at this time especially if you are not physically in Bahrain.

XTang

As mentioned, CPR fingerprints are totally different.   CID fingerprints are prints of every finger, thumb and palms.

Hi how did you apply for it through online? (If i already the fingerprint)   .I'm sorry but i couldn't find any portals online to apply for it.

I worked in Bahrain for 4.5 years and need PCC for UK. Was asked to provide a NOC from my company and that was a night mare as took 4 months to get that and was for once only submission. Then PCC through a service company took another 2 months lost my job offer mean while.
Now the PCC is only valid for 3 months and they ask for a new NOC for reapplication.
Embassy in my country says they send it back after 2 months saying that my company is military so should go there myself.????
Any suggestions..as I am stuck ..

XTang

Did you try the PCC service online on bahrain.bh?   I am assuming your fingerprints are in the system?

Neemish

Dear All,

Please note that bahrain.bh service is available for the applicant if the applicant is in the Kingdom of Bahrain. If the applicant is outside Bahrain there will be an error like below.

Error!
Apologies, you cannot proceed with this service since you are outside the Kingdom of Bahrain.

If your fingerprint is already in the system the best possible way is to come to Bahrain and apply.

One more possible way is to prepare the power of attorney for any of your friends to apply for the good conduct certificate on behalf of yourself in the public court of the country of current residence. Attest it with the Ministry of Foriegn affairs / Appostille stamp and your friend can apply it in Bahrain.

As you worked in the military again the CID can ask you to be present for the application.

Adeel Adeel

Thanks. I tried but online but not working for those whose CPR is expired already.
But still being there in person can help me solve this problem??

Dear,

If you are out of Bahrain as well it will not work. Also get a official letter from the company or immigration office from UK who is asking for the police clearance certificate as sometimes cid will ask for this letter. Make sure you have the residency permit copies and cpr copy if available.

You can try the power of attorney option if the pcc is not urgent. If it is urgent, try to visit Bahrain.

Adeel Adeel

Thanks for your reply.
Can someone clarify that once you have left the country still PCC document is valid for 3 months only ??
I can't understand as from Saudi Arabia PCC nothing written as valid for 3 months only.

XTang

It says so on the PCC itself i.e. "Valid for a period of 3 months from the date of issue".  And you shouldn't compare Saudi and Bahrain, they are different countries.   Saudi PCC manual can be valid up to 6 months and the electronic one through AMN portal is only valid for 10 days.  Even if nothing is written, and you are still resident in the country you got the PCC from, after 3-6 months, every agency will ask for a fresh one.

Now onward to what you are asking (I think):

What you need to understand is that it doesn't matter if you got the PCC and then left the country for good.  In the PCC, they will ONLY attest to your period of residence in the country e.g. if you were resident from Jan to Dec 2020, they will only verify that period irrespective of when you apply for it.......whether you apply in Jan 2021 or in Dec 2021, only Jan-Dec 2020 will be verified.   The validity period is primarily for people who get a PCC and continue to stay on in the country legally.

Unfortunately, most agencies around the world don't focus on this common sense and still ask you to get a fresh certificate..........but some can be convinced.  I have used my UAE PCC from 2014 (electronic certificate) for different things by combining that with passport exit stamps and visa cancellations to demonstrate that I left for good, and that, the validity period does not apply to me.   It has worked for me.

It is clearly written in the certificate that "This certificate has been issued upon his request and is valid for a period of three months from the date of issue"

So Once 3 months have been completed the certificate is not useful until some agencies like IRCC will accept it if you never enter Bahrain after the certificate was issued. So it depends upon agencies rules as well.

But you cannot compare PCC in Bahrain with Saudi. Each country has its own rules and regulations to be followed.

Adeel Adeel

Thanks a lot everyone for your reply.
Remember in prayer.
May Allah make it easy for all of us.Ameen.

Yes, I request to ask, my good cantact certificate in I apply but my documents attach not able I don't know y can u I put by pdf also but not able?

XTang

Make sure documents are right size and also try through a different browser.

زÙÛÛب ÙسÛÙ46

Yes, I apply and my fingerprints already in there system so, after how many day I'll get good candact certificate from government office?.👍

XTang

It varies.  For some people it is quick; I always got mine in 3-4 days.   For others, it can take a week or two.

veershoor

Is it possible to apply for good conduct certificate for General purpose without  the "Letter from the entity wishing to employ the applicant or the requesting party" (Mentioned as a requirement in government webaite)?

XTang

In some cases yes.   For some purposes, you need a letter e.g. for Canada, it is a must.  Similarly, for self sponsorship purposes, it is a must.   You need to check requirements from the entity that needs it because some require the purpose to be mentioned on the certificate e.g. for Canadian immigration and in that case, CID won't process without the said letter.

veershoor

Thankyou. Is it  possible to just do the fingerprint registration part now for future purposes regarding good conduct certificate?

XTang

I don't think so.  They do the fingerprint registration after you file an application.

Edz 1084

it actually took months before my fingerprints appeared in their systems. And im paying agency to get my certificate atm since I was rejected twice. Right now, Im just waiting for the printout. 🤞🤞

Edz 1084

It took me a month before my fingerprints appeared in there system and still waiting for my printout. A very hassle thing to process when your out of the country.
I’ve been rejected twice when my friends submitted the application. Atm, I’m coordinating with the PCC Helpline, so far I will get the certificate soon.
