Previous Employer harassment

I have an enquiry regarding an employer who has been constantly harassing me. I have filed a labour case against them in 2019- as they had pending salaries. This was done with the advise of the lawyer.

in November 2019 they had asked us to come to the police station claiming that we had taken things from the place of work. We showed the police proof that we left the (employer) and our resignation letters.

Now 2021, we are asked to come to the police station once again for the same reason. The police remembered us from the last time and was on our side and didnt understand why they again chose to file a case after two years. They made us sign a paper saying its been two years, nothing has been taken and resignation has been duly submitted and proof of handover done+ they have found other jobs.

When I asked them if the previous employers will do this again - which is filing a complaint and summoning us- they said they cant be sure and asked us to go to public prosecution. I dont know what that meant?

The court order has been excecuted and we have been awarded compensation but the employer chooses not to pay once again but harasses us.

What can I do? I have taken the legal route, I have kept quiet, I have given up. What can I do?

For compensation, if they have not respected the court order, you need to file for enforcement of the same at execution court. That court judgement will lead to CR being frozen and they will have to pay :).

For the harrasment, you need to lodge a complaint at public prosecution.

Thanks for you reply.

CR seems to be currently frozen but they still continue with their activities.

Does enforcement and filing a case with public prosecution require fees or money? As an expat and them being Bahraini- can they pull strings and make life difficult for me?

Public prosecution is complaints, not a court case.  So no fees.

They can't pull any strings to change the outcome of a case that has already been decided.

Do you know where and how I can file a complaint?
