Post new topic

Hello everyone  😊 I am not going to ask question because many people replied to this topic.
I just want to share my experience in getting marriage visa.
To get this visa is not easy and I am still waiting decision.
I applied for visa on 28 June. And my dossier sent to Belgium on 5 July.  My marriage registration should be on 24 September.
I am still waiting for the decision for 8 weeks.
Many people wrote they received visa after 1,5 months or 2 months... I also hope for positive decision of my visa and I can travel to Belgium to get married with my boyfriend.
I want to support anyone who's waiting for the marriage visa and I hope we all get visa and be happy with our beloved ones. 🤗
Good luck 🤞

You should get an answer anytime soon, keep hope ;)

2-3 years ago, it took 6 weeks for my significant other to get her visa. It depends on the overall charge of work in the long stay department.

Good luck!

Hey hi, I believe we are in the same boat. My wife has applied for the Spouse visa on 7th June and it still shows in treatment in the IBZ website. So it is more than 12 weeks (3 months +)  for us now. Let’s see some people are saying 4-5 months is an average time. Let’s hope for the best. It is hard I know but guess we have to wait.

Thank you 😊
