CMI Diploma level 7 Strategic Management

Post new topic

I have been offered a management position in Jeddah. I do not have any degree but I have completed CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management. This qualification is widely considered equivalent to Masters in the UK. The diploma was studied online. Would this be sufficient to get a work visa for Saudi and would I be able to get the legalised from the Saudi consulate?

You can work.
But, you will not be able to get registered here as a manager.
Saudi Council of Engineers will never accept online degree of any kind.

Hats off to you bro.
Why wouldn't he?
The government has clear instructions that every individual should have the exact profession on his/her iqama which work he/she is been doing from the very first day.
Now, there is a lot of expats who do not have proper profession on their iqamas, their professions are different than their jobs.
So, the government is taking action, if they get you, they will put a fine on you and the company, and then, send you home.
How the government knows?
The can come to the sites/offices and can check.
And what about the salary?
How can he get the salary of a manager while having some non professional visa?
The government will get to such person in the very beginning, because all expats are getting the salaries through digital channels.
Those days are gone when we were doing such things.
He needs a proper professional visa, a manager if possible.
But, he can have any other professional visa at least, so that he can work without any issue.

You can ask about it to your company that what will be your profession on the iqama?

@Arsal7, thanks for your detailed message. so basically I am a British Citizen with 12 years of experience in management. The job I am getting in Saudi is like for like as my current job in the UK but this will be my first time coming to Saudi. My profession on my Iqamah will be Manager. Question is, can I get a work visa for the correct profession based on a diploma only or my visa will be rejected?

Thank u , bro I replied what is asking about
- getting visa based on his current CMI qualification and it’s legalization
Manger’s profession( general )  is non technical so SCOE registration is not required ( list on web)
@ adnan u been offered mangemnt position ur profession should b same ,further check with ur company
during visa process ur CMI qualification will not be considered, don’t worry about visa it’s not Uk tier 4 point based system
Check ur offer letter, and just follw the visa process which quite straight forward
