@Bewareofmorocco WOW! Thank you for this post! I've met one on FB and have been back and forth with him for a little over a year. We were planning marriage, but I believe he is a Lier and can't keep track of his lies. You are correct. He is a master of sweet words, message me every day, asked if I sent pictures to someone else, mistrust me, get angry really quick than apologizes. Also, he uses Islam to professes his honesty.  we stopped speaking for months then his cousin finds my profile on Linkin and profess love for me as he translated for his cousin. The cousin pretends to me clairvoyant. lOl Telling me he can see me all the way here in the US from Morrocco'. lol SMH I will never even visit this country! After reading your post I've blocked him and will never answer his calls.

Sabrina8

@Bewareofmorocco What kind of illegal work did he do? I suspected that this guy and his cousin are doing the same thing.

Does anyone know whether a authorities in morroco take any action against cases of theft and deception?

Surely if you can prove that you have purchased properties you get a case registered against the scummy men and kick their arse in their own country...they like to show off back home with (woman's) money and status even though they don't have any respect for anything ... not religion nothing...

I have a similar situation and I want my money back as I don't tolerate liars or cheats....does anyone know how I to start the humiliation process for such a **** character?1f600.svg1f600.svg

Since 2 years the Moroccan authorities started to be very strict against those cheaters and liars. I know some cases where those dudes went for many years behind bars. Not really money back because it’s usually gone already… But you need proof and have to be here for several times.

You would also need a good lawyer, which is very important to get your right. I know a very good one in Marrakech who deals with those cases…

sorry to hear this. But please do kindly refrain from using bad language. As far as legal action goes you will need a good lawyer and i can recommend one in private message. The only way is to take legal action and provide your evidence and you can get what's due to you back. Trust in the legal system and have a good lawyer. If you want a recommendation for one in Casablanca. private message me your details and i will make the introduction to you.

Thank you for your reply

Yes please do let me know. He forced me into a civil registration (as this is necessary by local law ), before a religious nikkah is permitted, so agreed providing we MUST register the 'relationship'' to with the Local morroco consulate...after the civil ceremony he seemed to make excuses....he on my view has taken advantage financially but I also feel morally and emotionally. We were apply to UK for his visa and he says he has nothing (even though he is with residency fo.2 years and working, and living for free at my home!!!)...I can tolerate alot of things but religion to manipulate another into zina by trickery is not fair 1f62a.svg

  • For this i will have to take steps to punish this behaviour.
  • Regarding the house, he did actually buy the house and put my name /passport number on the document allegedly ( I saw it's in Arabic but my details were on the document) and when I gave the money I signed a contract between us and additionally I have history of WhatsApp, bank transfer and  emails regarding the financial trail

  • But if you have the lawyer in morroco available for a chat I would be grateful

Jazakallahkhair

@Guest6788 were was your tears when you were both cheating on your respective partner and causing both of them pain and heartache by divorcing them because of your delusions! You both deserve what you get and Karma is b#$##h.

Both need to do tawba if you are also a Muslim.

Allah justice is fair and he humiliated you for  the actions that you both took. Why didn't you divorce first and then carry out your shenanigans.

You came on here playing victim, yet you were ok with cheating on his wife,  and now you're asking for advice on what to do.

I suggest to you and to my self to repent to Allah from this evil way, and Allah will bless you

@Guest6788 @Guest6788 Yes, a Muslim man can have up to four wives AND Allah swt says that it's best to have one because he will not be able to be just. What Muslim man is responsible and fearing of Allah that he can treat them all justly, without hitting or harming them? What Muslim man is responsible enough to put a roof over their shoulders, equally? What Muslim man can put food on the table equally? What Muslim man can divide his income between all wives appropriately? What Muslim man can educate his wives appropriately? What Muslim can support his wives and children appropriately? The answer is rare. These men are rare. They exist, but indeed it is a rare sight to see.

A Muslim man can have up to 4 wives, not a Muslim woman. The woman was married. She cannot be looking into another relationship or man if she's married. Fear Allah ya nas. Subhana Allah.

For a Muslim man to have more than one wife, it isn't "cheating" for him to marry another free woman from the book. The problem isn't that. The problem is that both of them were looking into a Haram relationship all together. She was married and he knew that, so both of them committed adultery and both of them get stoned to death in Islam. What doesn't get done in dunya, will get done in akhirah.

Nizar Ismael

There is no stoning in the Quraan, Stoning was the standard method of capital punishment in Judaism, but Jewish courts generally avoided stoning sentences in later times.

Historically, some Muslim sects continued stoning as a punishment for adultery claiming it's in the aural sources of their Islamic denomination.

@halimaerrami19 Salam halima my story is also similar to her but the difference is I'm a Indian man cheated by a moroccan lady. She also used me for just to give her kids and once got the kids she said bye bye to me for no reason as i was so loyal and loving to her. Just one day she said i want divorce bcos i wanna live my life alone bcos i had caught her red handed with other mens. In short she was a bed character woman but still i gave her many chances just thinking about my kids but ultimately i lost my kids. And now living a lonely life but almighty Rabi will justice with me one day inchallah.

@Qazzaq

Yes, it must be reported in person or you need to retain a lawyer.

I have lived in Morocco for 10 years and this is nothing new
