Hi!

Could anyone please give me the heads up on the English speaking International schools in Mauritius please?

No places in Le Bocage so looking at Westcoast and Northfields. Not sure if there are others?

Age of children - 9 and 12.

Thanks very much in advance

Try Dukesbridge, they have campuses all around Mauritius. https://dukesbridge.com/

@lisabentley1981  have you found a place in one of the establishments? so, if in May it is already complete for the next school year, when is it appropriate to make the registration process?! we are coming to settle next summer June 2023 and I am interested to know your return. thank you

Can Anyone, Give a List” of Good Government School, in Curepipe or Quatre Borne? That Speak: “English”, also just in: case the “World Blows Up”
Perhaps: that “Feed” Out of Hampton?
Tks,
Kate :)

@Vyas Chady Dukebridge primary school is relatively new and their level is still unproven compared to similarly priced schools like Hampton or Step Ahead. They are also not internationally certified. From info gathered, their students tend to struggle to match students from the upper level public primary schools. And their waiting list is like crazy.

But they do offer a wide range of extracurricular activities both on campus and offsite.

@katechady Government schools medium of language is mostly the local dialect creole. English will be used mainly for English lessons.
Reputed medium-priced private English speaking schools in the centre of the island would be Hampton, Step Ahead and Orchard Kids from my personal interaction and feedback gathered
