Exit visa from Saudi Arabia

If one employer in Saudi Arabia wants go urgently back to his country and have no time to get exit or exit reentry visa, can he leave Saudi? Or immigration on airport checks the exit visa as mandatory requirement to travel out of Saudi?

Maybe you are referring to an employee (foreign expat), not the employer.

And yes, exit/re-entry visa is mandatory for a foreign expat (employee) who are going for emergency leave or vacation outside KSA. If you go for good, a final exit only visa is required. You cannot leave the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia without the aforementioned visas.

@RedTrumpet (If you go for good, a final exit only visa is required). Can you explain me this please? If one wants go permanently but exit visa is taking long time and can't wait, in this case what the short procedure we can adopt to get any permission just to leave the country?

To go out of the country, you MUST have, either an exit re-entry visa or a final exit visa. Immigration will not allow you through without one of these. There is no short procedure or permission.

Final exit only visa application must be initiated online by your HR/GRO hospital, employer, or company, not by yourself (employee). Take note on this. As long as you have cleared all your issues within your employer, the final only exit visa can be processed within one (1) day.

@XTang if you get an exit visa to leave Saudi Arabia and do not return, from what i have read you will be banned for 3 years. So if that happens are you aloud to travel to other countries like united states or will that ban show up on a background check
