Police clearance certificate dubai

Post new topic

HI there guys

So am here need some clarifications 2 years back I had a misunderstanding with my employer and he opened a police case against me which was later forwarded to the public prosecution in sharjah ,but after some agreements with my employer he agreed to drop the case and later issued a waiver on my behalf to the public prosecutions and the case was closed without proceeding infront of a judge ...the police cleared me and I travelled back to my home country,  I came back to dubai I got another job and all the formalities are done I got my residency already but as of the last things to do my new employer says they need a police clearance certificate to finalise everything..

Which brings me to my question will my previous run in with the police which I even never got convicted for hurt my chances of getting the police clearance certificate (PCC)

Appreciate the response in advance

@Xtang any insight about this

As far as the process goes, a police clearance only shows convictions. If public prosecution dismissed the case then you should not have any issues.
