@Enzyte Bob
things can easily get messy if the partnership goes wrong, and i want no part of the legal fallout of such a thing.

NEVER Partnership type registration in our home countries neither by being UNLIMITED responsible even if its the other who screw up.

@Enzyte Bob

Exactly. I have been propositioned by many close acquaintances (not to mention family relatives and friends) for the  undertaking of property investments.  30%?  45%?  no, I rather have it all or nothing at all.

The real hidden negative thing about a Philippine National owning 60%.

(1) How many Philippine Nationals could come up with 60% for some realistic endeavor?
(2) If a Philippine National owned 60% he would NOT need some Expats 40%.
(3) In reality the Expat would put far more than 40%, he would be the major contributor.
(4) The Philippine investor is probably a Ghost, no money or very little invested.
(5) This Ghost can stick it to you whenever.

But I have told of the solution possibilities* of that several times but instead of reading them you seem to have been occupied with posting BS  - sometimes funny though :)  in difference from the loar and BS specialist Lotus Eater...

*The told function for some types of businesses.
An other I havent told, function at all businesses at least at all them I have had any thoughts of perhaps starting. This solution I have done for myself, but I dont want to tell how specialy to BS writers against me...   :)

@Enzyte Bob

Exactly.  The same headf*ckery exists for Expats who want to setup a Business here.

They have to be co-founded with at least one Filipino National with 50% ownership. The business cannot be a sole-proprietorship. and more than 50% of the capital investment must come from Filipino Investors..or something to this extent.

either way, it is not very attractive to Expats at all.
- @kristopherryanwatson
Well. Correct in PARTS, but not thinking about any of the two solutions I have told several times...
These functions not at all but at some businesses.

There is a third, which I dont remember if I have mensioned anytime,  which function in more but I believe not all situations. I stoped thinking about it when I got the idea to the fourth  :)    But it need more paperwork and the foreigner need an extra asset although it dont need to cost much. It has more maintainanse cost/work yearly though so I didnt make that for myself inspite of I have that extra asset anyway.

And there is a fourth, which can function in general at least of all business ideas I have thought about.  This I have done for myself and havent told how   :)   It took me much law studying and thinking before I figuered it out. puting together the pieces.

One of the two first is best and safest in cases where it fullfil the demands for that solution though, which is only for a minority of business ideas, but suiting many foreigners. I dont remind you of which because I noticed you took side with the BS writers, so you will need to find it yourself in some of my posts, which you seem to have found being to bad...   1f923.svg

@rcvining I did see an article in the Manila news 90% of Marcos donations were from out of the Philippines

Go with the flow.

You can scam he77 out of people in the US while behind a false identity in PH.  Offer generator sets for half price.  Toolboxes for unbelievably low costs.  Run the ad for three days, take the money and run.  Then let ebay make up on their guarantee.

Everybody's doing it.  Not me - I'm still in the US.  Take advantage of where you are - a place where rules, are never enforced...
