SAUDI Council of Engineering - MCA Degree Not accepting

Dears,

I have issue with Saudi Engineering council registration. I entered KSA with System Analyst General profession on work visa. Before iqama issuing while registering SCE , rejected saying Degree not allowed. I have BSC ( General Science) degree 3 year and MCA ( Master of Computer Applications) - 3 years. Seems SCE asking for Degree with computer related subject , which i do not have. But i have masters in Computers-PG:MCA. This is even good and more value than Bachelor degree in india. [ Both the degrees attested with Saudi council in India ]

Now what to do ?.

Do i have any chance / alternative here OR should i exit KSA before work visa expires (90days) ?

Please help urgently , kindly.

MCA they do not consider

MBA they do not consider

B.Sc without computer science they do not consider.

your best solution is ask your company to change profession.

change of profession on Iqama is stopped permanently.

@saudi2020 Yes your are right, better to change the profession. My qualification is also MCA. Alhamdullilaha, I did Bsc in Computer Science that is why they accepted my certificates.Now, MCA they are not considering.

@sandysamkumar9 it is not like earlier but if your company want can be change or can give a letter to maktab amal for profession change and you can find some body he can change

@saudi2020 thank you. I asked my company and HR reply - "Regarding career change, the Ministry of Human Resources replied not to change profession from System Analyst to other profession".

Not informed me about the reason.

But can i Still push my HR to change profession ? OR

Any possibility to take appointment and visit SCE and make them request to consider MCA ?.

Dear,

They accept MCA as 'Allied Engineering Specialist', and i am one of them

Get an appointment for SCE in website and go to them directly with someone who speaks Arabic and your problem will get solved.

When you upload, just upload all Marksheets in single PDF and dont leave anything. They may verify and take some to approve

@sandysamkumar9 Hello brother, i have the same like i did bsc mathematics and MCA. now they are asking to upload my BSC certificate. did they accepted for you?

@Vijayabaskar1110 Sure, they'll accept it; if they don't, make an appointment and explain that I have a Masters's degree in computer science that covers all of my key disciplines. I am confident that they will think about it. But only if you explain them properly will people consider them.

Does anyone have any knowledge of the Data Entry Operator profession? Is it possible to change profession? I've been looking for the last two months and haven't been able to find any accurate information regarding this profession. Please let me know if you know.

Mine is also accepted as 'Allied Engineering Specialist', Now there is no issue of language. Saudi girls are there as staff. They spoke in English.

My profession is a computer programmer.

My membership type is 'Technician' before, and my status is 'Temporary' i need to convert it to Permanent, Raised a request through the link available on the profile page.

Same time I took an appointment to visit SCE, Showed them the Original Certificate., and they accepted after.

Hi All,

I am a post graduate. I have got an opportunity in Riyadh and i will be traveling by end of this month. I just wanted to know if my MCA degree is accepted for iqama .i heart that Saudi is not accepting MCA to issue iqama is it true ?

@riyaz shaik first you have to tell what is your profession.its depend your profession.if your profession is programmer,then you need to register saudi council of engineer or any engineers or technician or computer related profession.

Thanks for your reply brother. I will be working for a IT company in Riyadh. The current profession that they had put in my visa is Telecom line installer.My bachelor and master both are computer science degrees only.

Hello everyone,

I too am stuck with this issue with SCE as my temporary technician membership has expired. My profession is Computer Programmer. Let me give a brief about my background.

I have been a science student from the start but always had an interest in computers. I have taken training on LOTUS, BASIC etc in 1990 in my high school. In my second year of high school my majors were Life sciences and Computers.

In Bachelors or BSC to be precise it was purely science though like Biology, Organic Chemistry etc. However, I took training courses on Java and even did projects in this field. Apart from this I took training in SAP, Solaris etc.

Now, fast forward to the present scenario, I also have two Masters degrees. 1)Masters Diploma or MCA equivalent certificate from India and 2) Masters in MIS from USA.

I have tried many times to make SCE authorities understand that my whole life I have been working in IT (more than 15 years) but somehow they do not get it and this issue still exists. Both my bachelors and MCA are attested and verified by Saudi Ministry.

Need any positive suggestions on this as I have to resolve this now.

Hello, for SEC if you have any bachelor or master degree in the same profession for which you are doing job in Saudia they will approve. correct?
