@simonbolton79 Thanks for that info. We’ll be going through Dubai Airport en route and they allow 3 months supply of prescription medication to be carried so I’m hoping that Thailand will be the same. Better safe than sorry I suppose. Read More

I wouldnt worry about it mate. Whenever ive been stopped at a road check by Police I've never been asked for my licence. If your there over 3 years(i think thats how long theyre valid for now) just renew your international driving permit. I suppose ... Read More

As many many folks here seem to reside in the seaside resort. I hear many farangs, be it English or non-English, put the emphasis on the second syllable, Pa-'tah-ya. Which is wrong, it is on the first one: 'Pat-tayah.

Correct👍🏻. Lived there over 40 years ago and that was the only way it was pronounced, must have got lost in translation somewhere along the line, not that it matters really but i know what you mean. Read More
