As we only just arrived and trying to get a grip we were thinking it would be nice to eat out Christmas day rather than cook. What do Cypriots do for food and has anyone got a suggestion for a place to eat? We are not specifically looking for roast turkey dinner.

Lots of places to choose from but you will need to book as they need advance numbers and they fill up quick.

We spent last Christmas there and had a really good Christmas meal at Aphrodite Hills (Kouklia area, Paphos). Lovely food and good atmosphere. If you are interested, you get in touch with the golf club there.

The big hotels usually have a good meal and entertainment on too.... But it's a bit of a mixed bag....
