Intention to transfer

Post new topic

guestposter962

I have spent 10 months and two weeks with my employer but i have intention to transfer, after applying for intention to transfer at LMRA, do I need to resign from company or I just wait for my one year visa to automatically cancel and I quit? And do I need to pay my employer ? Because I signed a two years contract? Anyone to assist me

JoyceHall

I also want to know more about it. Thank you so much for sharing the details here.

Finish one year.  Put resignation notice.  And then go for mobility.   Less than one year, you are not entitled for mobility.

guestposter962

@XTang my employer revealed that I want to transfer after one year and then yesterday renewed my visa for more six months, but remember the first visa will expire in ending of January 2023 ,. Now they added more 6months visa, so is there a way for me to resign after one year without paying the unused 6months visa fees?

XTang

You can resign and get mobility without consent.  You don't have to pay visa fees whatsoever - that is the law.

guestposter962

@XTang how ? U mean to resign after finishing one year or resign at exactly eleven months.

XTang

After 1 year

guestposter962

@XTang can u please list me the procedures coz I really need to transfer after one year and it's only one month remaining to finish one year with my company,

guestposter962

@XTang even my employer has renewed my visa after revealing my secret of resignation

@XTang  can I resign from my employer after one year without offer letter and my employer fails to ask me payment for the renewed visa? Please help me with that

XTang

As already mentioned on multiple threads, you can resign anytime and they cannot take any payments from you for visa.

@XTang thanks XTANG

@XTang once again greetings @XTang, I recently refused to go back to work for past two days because my company client was giving me extra work which aren't included in my contract and when I reported to my company, my company told me that we cannot say no to our clients and now they are threatening me that if I can't go back to work again , they will deport me, what can I do please because I refused to because of being given extra work and my company doesn't care but instead they are telling me to get deported soon if I don't go back to same place

XTang

File a case in labor court.  Only way.

guestposter962

@XTang , I today took my resignation letter at the post office so that I quit from this company. So could it be a good option? Because I don't have money to start process of labor court

XTang

I don't think you are understanding.   Even if you resign, you are legally obligated to serve our the notice period i.e. work.  And if you resign after having worked for less than one year with them, the only way to transfer visa is with their permission.  So stop doing silly things and handle this in a professional way.

@XTang according to my unsuccessful delivery attempt from Bahrain post am supposed to leave the company by the beginning of April but my resignation letter was not delivered due to recepient's absence and I was told next delivery attempt will be done next two weeks , please can I email my HR same resignation mail or I wait Bahrain post's next delivery attempt?

XTang

If they can't deliver they will give you notification. In any case you have the pink slip so proceed with that as evidence.

guestposter962

@XTang please sir my pink slip was sent on my resignation letter only I was given tracking number and white paper with full details about my EMS

XTang

What I said earlier applies.

guestposter962

@XTang thanks man, for any changes, we will keep in touch 🤝

guestposter962

@XTang please sir , I tried to send resignation letter through post but unfortunately all three delivery attempts were unsuccessful, what should I do please,. Any one to help

XTang

Keep the evidence of the failed delivery.  And email resignation.   Apply for mobility without consent.   Make sure that the letter was sent on the official address registered on their CR.

guestposter962

@XTang ok thanks

guestposter962

@XTang but do I need to send a new resignation letter or I can send the same from Bahrain post since I have a copy and it's pending for two weeks by now,. And if I send a new one, then notice can start today where by both resignation will read different last days of leaving, may u help on that please 🙏

Thanks

XTang

Read above what I said

guestposter962

@XTang I got it but now already I have pending resignation letter through Bahrain post and it's two weeks since I posted, should I email the same or I need new one with new dates of leaving, kindly please

XTang

Again, you are not reading.  I told you that if you sent it to the right address and it is being refused delivery then still apply for mobility without consent (if you have worked for 1 year or more with the employer).  If not the right address, then send it again and it will start from the new date.  Clear?

guestposter962

@XTang the address was right but office is always closed that's why all attempts failed

guestposter962

@XTang I served my notice period of a month and i asked my new employer to submit mobility as advised by LMRA and he only told me that he can apply after working for him three months and remember I will be without mobility and without his visa and unfortunately my current employer's visa is still valid. What exactly do I need to do because this new employer wants me to join him right now without his visa and am still on current employer's visa but I resigned  so am so confused 🤔,. Kindly I need urgent help
