Talk to a store where they sell washing machines. They should know.

@Leeds forever! that’s what I would do back in the UK, in places like Cha-am if I ask in a shop that sells them all they want to do is sell you a new one, no spare parts available.Thai friends of ours who are local reckon if it was a twin tub I might be in luck but as it’s an automatic no chance,I’ve seen the part I need on Lazada, a company called Viroj Moter sell them but their main factory is in Bangkok unless there’s one closer? Might be easier to just order one online.

@Martien69 thanks for that, I’ll give them a try.👍🏻

It doesn't really matter where a company is located when buying from Lazada. BKK is close to Cha-Am when it comes to delivery. I have ordered stuff from Phuket and I'm staying in Jomtien,Pattaya. It took 2 days.

@Leeds forever! Cheers, that’s good to know for the future but my mrs isn’t amused by having to wash clothes by hand so we’re off to buy a new one tomorrow, can’t complain really, we must have had it 15 years so it hasn’t done too bad😂 It’s in my Northern nature not to throw things away without trying to fix them first😄 The replacement will probably outlive me!😄
