Register marraige

Post new topic

Hi, myself (british) and moroccan husband have been legally married for over a year. He is delaying getting our marraige registered in morocco and this is causing some concerns. ( he is in morocco im in uk until i move there) He had recently told me that a family member has approached him on behalf of another with amarraige proposal and of course he regected. This has terrified me massively. He is also trying to delay me going back there wich has me worried. Is there a way that I can get our marraige registered in morocco myself? It's so wrong that in morocco he is seen as single when in the Rest of the world he is married. It's heartbreaking. I need to protect us protect me. Any advice etc welcome.

@Aisham02 The best advice you can get will be from the British consulate in Morocco. Anything else is just speculation.

Hey. You need a lawyer to register your marriage. You can do it without your husband, I think. My lawyer did the procedure for me. Message me for his info, I think he can help you too
