like many countries in the last 6 months they have stopped accepting US dollars and reverting to there own currencies, at the moment it is impossible to return to Phnom Penh because for every $1000 aud I only get $650 in usd , is the government considering to rid themselves of the usd and float the riel and or start trading in the Chinese yuan, maybe it is better to take aud and exchange it for the riel in Cambodia.

As far as I am aware there are no immediate plans to move away from the USD though it is the inevitable result of a strengthening country.

Thanks bazar, I am pleased to see a determination from the world a large to replace the U.S. dollar the sooner the better, they have manipulated the dollar for there own greed, July might be interesting as at the moment they owe $31.6 trillion dollars and unless congress approves to lift the ceilings on what they can borrow than you can expect a world recession and what follows that is War, thank you once again, willyboy
