Apple MAIL does not work properly due to new Outlook 365 system

I am an avid Mac user that relies on the native default Apple email app "Mail". This means I avoid using a PC or the MS Outlook mail application. Starting about 2019, some emails failed to show in my inbox. Over time, I have learned that a common issue may occur where Mac Mail is not syncing and therefore not showing recent emails notifications.

As I rotate between California and Tagaytay, I use the Apple cloud to handle the activities between both of my iMacs at each home.

This problem was made worse when VA Manila attempted to send me secure emails and failed to tell me it would be from an Outlook 365 server in 2022. Apparently. the update of the Microsoft Exchange servers in Summer 2022, resulted in the "Apple App MAIL does not work properly any more due to incompatibility in security with the new Outlook 365 system".

Because of some continuing PLDT porting issues, my IOS and firewall setting have also been "adjusted" to ensure proper connections to my important USA URL's like VA and Banking (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/254543801).

Recently (Mar 2023), MS has made OUTLOOK free for Mac users where a Microsoft 365 subscription or Office license to use it is no longer needed. https://www.theverge.com/2023/3/6/23626 … c-free-app

As this is evaluated for my needs, I hope this is informative for all. If anyone here in expat has been attempting to contact me via my personal email, please do call/Text me or leave a message here.

Thanks for the understanding if I have failed to respond ...

I too am loyal Mac user since 1988.........I loved the old Entorauge mail system which they did away with..(I never used Apple Mail for some reason) I was forced to use OUtlook for Mac when Entorauge ended.          I use MS Outlook 365 for personal and my business without too many issues other than storage...and I don't mind paying for MS Office 365 because I need Word and Excel.
