Hello everyone,

me and my wife have recently moved to Etimisgut area of Ankara. We are looking forward to furnish our apartment moderately with basic items like essential Electronics, Furniture, curtains, utensils etc.

To adapt and merge with the Turkish society quickly, the first challenge is to learn Turkish language.

Will also be looking forward to interact with any enthusiastic Turkish language speaking partner who can spend some time as per convenience ( I would not mind if you don't/can't speak good English).

My interests include cultural exchanges, sightseeing, hiking, exercise, healthy discussion on anything of interest et cetera.

Thank you for your message and for sharing these details about your expatriation experience.

If you are looking for already used basic essentials , maybe you can drop an advert in the Ankara classifieds section, you will then be notified if some members are selling their stuffs.

I also hope that members will be able to point out the shops available in your area very soon.

As you also wish to learn Turkish language, you may want to post an ad in the Language exchange in Ankara section, it might also help you to bond with other expatriates or locals there. Note that this section is also found in the Ankara classifieds section ( the link i shared previously ) .
