Filipina asking

Post new topic

Am I meeting/appealing to the wrong Filipinas? They seem to have their mind set on me buying them a motorcycle or car or house or jewelery.

I would suggesting telling all those Filipinas that you are sick and need money to pay your psychiatrist. You might even look for a wealthy mate on the Nigeria forum.

Larry Fisher

Yea, I'd tend to say you are.

Where exactly are you meeting these Filipinas - online or in person? I was watching a video from one of the bloggers yesterday and he was saying that most of them do not want materialistic things or at least the sort of stuff you have been asked for. Most seem happy with simple, inexpensive clothes. food and other basic necessities.

Are you hanging around the yacht club and meeting them there?

Moon Dog

@Gezzar Are they mostly big city girls or province girls?

Peter Crawford

They will lower their "price" to maybe food, clothes and maybe cash for diapers and milk for the baby....hope you have your sneakers on then.

Willy Sutton notorious American bank robber with a 40 year career was interviewed and asked why he robbed banks. Willy said "Because that's were the money is".

Your the bank and they are Mrs. Sutton's.

stuleer

Sound advice Steve. I've heard Cherry Blossoms is a good site. All innocent god fearing province girls with the little fringe and the 'tooty fruity'curls :)

Some Expats come to the Philippines wanting to meet the wrong ladies. Little do they realize there is no quid pro quo after all their money is gone.

I've heard people using the term "ATM". Maybe it's just because I'm old and have been coming to the PI since the mid 80's but the term that used to be used was "Bank of America" instead. Of course, it can be Bank of England, Bank of Australia.......

The advice was to live far enough away from your spouse's family so they couldn't just pop over to borrow money. But I think you would be surprised at how far that pop over distance can be!

I met my gf/fiance on line. I mentioned in my bio, looking for a woman who wants me, not needs me.  Although, I do pay for most, I do not pay for all.  She has refused for me to pay for anything out of the ordinary, including her annulment. There are plenty of good ones, "maybe" the younger they are, the less independent they are?

Best wishes

Keith

I'm/ we're 45 minutes from family in Jeepney and tricycles and we don't see them, first it's far for them and when they used to visit in early days got nothing and after a few visits never saw them again, We don't visit the relo's and ask for a hand out and we are certainly not an ATM.

Once they get the msg they leave you alone, as said perhaps I'm a hard ass and give them nothing and take them nowhere.

We help but only genuine if required.

Cheers, Steve.

We're about 1 -1.5 hrs away. My wife loves to have a party around New Years and invites family members. Lot's of games with money prizes. She did this before we ever met also. She'll spend about 10k pesos or so. Everyone has a good time including her. They don't bother us the rest of the year. Her SIL and brother will do a lot of things for us. My wife wanted her Vespa taken to her house in Taguig because that is where they normally meet up for their group rides. Her brother took the bus down and drove it back for her. Her Father and sometimes Mother live with us. FIL did most of the cooking and yardwork. MIL is here about 1/2 the time, she takes the bus back and forth. My wife hired the wife of her cousin to be the maid now, she does the cooking and cleaning and we have a big house. Almost 2 years here and no complaints with the situation.

Arms length for me but we are all different, great that is working for you.

Cheers, Steve.
