Using UK Blue Badge (disabled parking) in Portugal

Hello

we have a home in Lisbon but don’t live there full-time. I spent quite a few months coming and going and my partner slightly less time due to work. When we were there in January and February we were stopped a couple of times using the blue badge. As I live in London that time with blue badges from the UK which now isn’t compatible due to Brexit. I have spent nearly 3 weeks phoning emailing and today has spoken to the British Embassy in Lisbon the Portuguese Embassy in London and the throne and Commonwealth office and nobody can tell me where we can park or not. I have severe mobility  issues intimately walk very short distances so for me it’s really important to be able to park as near to places as possible. Passwords will have an Irish registered vehicle but unfortunately my blue badge as UK honest no longer the EU symbol. Really grateful for any clarity that anybody can throw in this I’m tearing my hair out at the moment and travelling next week so I’d like to get it sorted. Thank you so much!

Hi @cardsandcandi,

You can do this request through IMT Online:

But medical proof is needed, I don't know if you don't have to go to a Portuguese doctor, with all the medical documentation you have from your country, so that you can be given this medical certificate accepted by IMT ...
