EXIT from Bahrain

Post new topic

Can anyone please advice me about exit formalities. I am staying with my wife. Both are having prepaid mobile sim & prepaid wifi connection with router.

What i am supposed to do before leaving Bahrain for:

  1. My bank account.
  2. my pre-paid mobile sim because I want to keep it alive for some period like for a month.
  3. regarding my wi-fi.
  4. I have paid advance deposit to landlord, so is he supposed to return my deposit at the time of handing over of residential accommodation.

Thanks

1. If your final settlement is done then go to the bank and ask them to close it. If your final settlement will be done after you exit the country, you can close the account by sending them an email (but call them and confirm about this)

2. Pre paid sim card will work till there is validity, after that you can discard

3. Have a word wit your service provider on how to close the prepaid internet connection

4. We give deposit which is supposed to be adjusted in the rentals, not sure why you gave additional advance.

After expiry of my work visa, do I have to do any formality with LMRA or simply I can get exit from airport immigration.

Please advise me on what to do, I resigned accordingly from my previous company, and it’s almost a week now my boss said he will open mobility for me but up till now his yet to allow mobility for my transfer visa to be transferred to my new company. Please what do I do when in this situation?

XTang

Answered this many times. You can get transfer without consent if you worked with them for more than 1 year.  If not, mobility is not your right.  Ask them to cancel your visa instead.
