Hello,

Could you please share your experience living in Hai Phong? I've got a job offer and planning to move with my family, with 2 kids.

my main concerns are the safety and education level in International schools? are they as good as is seems from the internet?

I would much appreciate this information.

thanks,

Davit

@Data Karchava Hai Phong is safer than Hanoi and HCMc for sure. International schools are good (Vinschool - deway -FPT) all are belong to the same system as in other big city. IT'S worth living in Hai Phog.

P/s. I am a Hai Phong nitizen

Good luck!

Hi there Data Karchava (Davit).

There was a thread started a couple of years ago, resurrected more recently, concerning Hai Phong.

Found here (Link)

Hope it helps.

@phamthu hiiii!! what about for people in their late 20s-early 30s, how's Hai Phong? Got an offer to work there, and am considering wether i should accept... it doesn't seem like it's a well loved city by many expats, but all the info i found is quite old, things might've changed like in Da Nang...

@br-vn thank to Vin group, HP now is developing very fast and I think most of the things you need are available here Less traffic , less poluttion than in Hanoi. If you want to have more fun, take a bus or taxi to Hanoi for just 1hour and you can find anything you need

@phamthu that's nice to hear!! i'm a more chill girl, tho i do like the occasional ging out to dance, so maybe i'll be doing that in Hanoi haha do you know what's there to do there? apart from Cat Ba an going to Hanoi... or if there's an expat comunity there
