Hi everyone, just received our refuse bill and its nearly doubled from last year 😡 came with a letter in Greek (yeh am fluent...not) so ask the niece to translate and it say that if you are in holiday accommodation and the likes then it's gone up !! We rent and are on a 2 year tenancy with option to continue so surely that can't be classed as a holiday let. Anyone else in same position and if so what can be done. Have a good evening everyone.

I suggest you go to the municipality and make it known with proof ie tenancy agreement that it's your main residence on a long term rental for two years maybe longer .. is the bill in your name or the owners? If it's in the owners name then he will have to take it up with the municipality
