Hello all, so glad I found this forum.

We are planning to move to Italy in 7 to 10 years when we retire. My husband has Italian roots, and we are in the process of collecting all documents to apply for his citizenship. Not sure if we should get an attorney to help us or do it ourselves.

I found this website:  italiandualcitizenship.net Don’t know if they have good reputation and reasonable prices. We have not been to Italy yet but are dreaming about it. We hope to visit it next year and get a rental car to drive around and to explore local areas for our future move. We will be buying a house with some land.

Hope we can meet some of you on our trip.

I am hoping to learn more here.

Thanks.

We are considering multiple regions: Lazio, Abruzzo, Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, Liguria. And we want to be close enough to a bigger city.

Thank you for creating a new thread for me.
